Who am I to judge a man when I'm a man of my dreams
A man of letters, a man that looks deeper than what seems
And changes whatever your heart means
It seems to me that the nations of man has left their dreams
For petty dollars and some sugar and cream
This is coffee music
the type that wakes you up and means to make you achieve great things
I know you gotta lot of hate but I still fight it
Difficult to respect the greed and the pettiness
When all that I hope to see is hard work and progress, I digress
Is it real or just plain ignorance
should probably be worth two minutes
And who gets the best of me I hope they say I'm left with these stress
Holding onto my weakness and trying to get my breath
I've been doing it for a minute, yeah
It isn't about the money
It isn't about the fame
I walk in the dark
following what burns like a moth to the flame
He who never got burnt isn't aware of the pain
Life's value is about experience, nothing's vain
And if I don't get the money and the fame
I'll keep enjoying the rain
before my life is down the drain
I'll rise from the ashes again and again
Is what I'm trying to explain
Cause I just roll deep and put the pressures on mess
Most people don't care about your net value. I assess
That in front of real nature we ain't shit,
Money and power is what the people want they think
It is for us to remember that we need to care for each others
And the things that do mather you'll start to fathom
If you value a man by his possessions
Money will soon be your only obsession
So act now, and pray later for shiny cars
Because It is preferable that we wage war
against climate change, hunger and everything that goes too far
Because in this world I'm hungry for change
I've got to rearrange and shake the whole world
is it strange?
It isn't about the money
It isn't about the fame
I walk in the dark
following what burns like a moth to the flame
He who never got burnt isn't aware of the pain
Life's value is about experience, nothing's plain
And if I don't get the money and the fame
I'll keep enjoying the rain
before my life is down the drain
I'll rise from the ashes again and again
Is what I'm trying to explain
